"Incorporating 5% Riesling in the blend, the 2010 Lion’s Tooth of McLaren Vale Shiraz Riesling shows a deep garnet color with just a hint of purple in the glass. With notes of black raspberries, kirsch and blueberry preserves plus whiffs of potpourri and violets, it is full-bodied and richly fruited in the mouth. It has plenty of spiced red and blackberry flavors on offer with a medium level of velvety tannins and enlivening acid to sustain the long finish. Drink it now to 2017+." Lisa Perotti-Brown, The Wine Advocate, February 2013.
